It is not what you think it is. It describes the modern way of how the system and the world governments, thru their pathetic rules and regulations, suck out our quintessence, how they constantly destroy our individualism, our own character. It's conspiracy against the rules of life, they think they can own us...we do not follow the shepherd, we question everything, we doubt anything. The mirror of history is broken, and we all reflect in it, we make history, it is us, mankind, which breaks into a new dawn, but this is only a trick, a perpetual masquerade. It is their personal game, and we are the pawns. They suck us dry and promise us what we want to hear...hey, is mankind really that dumb? Well, history is the witness. The words in the Romanian part of the text should describe this, in a very diffuse way, it's like when we are confused, and don't know how to continue...
The English-written part at end shows the revenge of us, victims, in a very poetic style, paying them back with the same coin. Some of us don't wanna see, some don't wanna hear, or speak, or feel...
I am fed up with their kind; I am feeling restricted, mocked upon and enslaved against any will. It's time to let them know, what they are doing to us. The same process they use is to be experienced by them, too. My wounded lips are longing for some blood and my seared tongue loves its pounding... they taught us, now their kids walk upon them with vengeance in their eyes. Vampires??? Oh yes, they do exist...

The first 30 seconds of "Revenge by Fire" convinced me to get the whole album! It is a face-melting blend of speed and black metal, reminiscent of Hellripper! KVAEN is a Swedish solo project much like Hellripper but many known guest musicians helped J. Björnfot in his endeavor. Altogether it is really a solid debut album, I loved the melodies and the pace changes in the second half too, ending with a "calm" instrumental one. Well-done!! sachavonkarl74
