about

He-he, as most of you have risen up the idea, this is about some kind of possession, but in a very special way !!! The part in the beginning of the track with all those unfurled chicks yelling shows just our humorous side, don't worry...they don't really belong to the sense of the lyrics. What I intended to put up in those strophes is, principally, that we, mankind are obsessed with any kind of rituals, to cling on to something higher, hoping or even eagerly believing, someone's watching over us, someone's knows it all and everything is part of a master plan...I feel sorry for those people, they are possessed by the mad-cow disease...It exists only us and the dark, humid ethereal space, we live in. There are many things around, above and beneath us that we don't understand, the truth, veritas (latin), is relative, we will never know the absolute one.
We, Homo sapiens erectus, are a bunch of fools, the history has shown how it works... we are fucked up, wrapped with the bloody claws of faith and creed. Most of the wars during the couple millenniums of anyhow "civilized" humanity were disputes about religion and about a fictitious god, we don't even have evidence and proof of its existence. If there is such a force oriented towards us then it is obvious that this force has nothing to do with the conspirative lectures of any kind of religion. We are just possessed by the idea... an idea which, thru the centuries was and still is the most durable curse, or joke, or illusion, or fairy-tale, however we may wanna call it. The clue is that we all slip into oblivion and the secrets unveiled after death remain unveiled for the living, they are the dark the nights embrace, the ghosts which the poets write about... don't delude yourselves, fellows, we are like puke in the dust, like a spoke on the wheel, to make it clearer to you... we are like ants in comparison to the evolution of life and time in space!!! We are what we are, and we should accept the reality and do the best we can out of this... those we still stick to their perishable, sheep-like creed are indeed possessed... by maggots and madness!

lyrics

Deep into the darkness peering
Long I stood there fearing
Dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before...
But the silence was unbroken
And the stillness gave no token
And the only word there spoken
Was the whispered word: "Veritas"
This the dark whispered
And an echo murmured back the word
Merely this and nothing more!

Fools and faith conspire
Questions of desire
That they never owned before
Kings without their armour
Men without their honour
We all slip into oblivion

We are the dark inside the night
The ghosts about which the poets write
And the dreams that night's embrace
That slowly leave without a trace...

O, suflet sparge-odata, ingusta-ti inchisoare
Si scutura-te-odata de-acest lut pamintesc!
Vreau sa m-agat de tine, spre cer navala dind
Cum viermii de-un cadavru s-agata misunind!

English translation of last verse:
O, soul, break away from your tiny cage
And shake off your body of clay
I want to cling on to you, rushing towards heavens
As maggots cling on to a dead body, creeping!
